What I do, and on what terms.

This page carries no personal history by design. Skills and terms, nothing else.

What I do

Full-stack development, from low-level systems up to interfaces people actually enjoy using, with a specialisation in digital forensics.

The common thread across everything here is a preference for software that keeps what it handles: minimal dependencies, reproducible builds, and architectures that do not need a privacy policy because they never collect anything in the first place.

Skills

Languages. Rust for systems work. Python for tooling and artefact parsing. Kotlin for Android. PHP and JavaScript for the web.

Frontend. HTML, CSS, React, Vue. Accessible markup and interfaces that work without JavaScript where that is achievable.

Backend and infrastructure. Node.js, MySQL, Linux, Android, Git. Self-hosted services, dependency-light by design.

Digital forensics. Artefact parsing, evidence handling, and the tooling around it.

Applied cryptography. End-to-end encrypted messaging, key agreement, and the failure modes that matter more than the happy path — what a system does when a key expires or a peer disappears.

What I can help with

Practical work for individuals: recovering what a device still holds, understanding what an application is actually sending, de-Googling a phone, hardening a personal setup, or building a small tool that does one thing without phoning home.

If you are not sure whether something falls in scope, ask. A short honest answer costs nothing.

Selected work

Seca — three communication apps for Android: contacts, calls and messages. One design, no Google dependency, and end-to-end encrypted messaging between Seca phones over public Nostr relays. Written in Kotlin.

No form, no tracking, no intermediary. Email arrives directly and is read.
